the old town of Fenghuang

This is one of the most oldest and beautiful towns in China named Fenghuang. It still keeps the original appearance of ancient China including the whole architecture styles and people's living habits and customs. For example, people still use boats as the main transportation and if you take a boat passing by the residential area, you may hear the local girl's song. The buildings in this town are still used and owes rich cultural deposits. You can say that it has seen the change of history of China.

the lamp inspired by clownfish

Here are three images of my lamp work which is inspired by clown fish. First of all, because of my deep impression of its beautiful skin's color, I chose the bright orange and black to be the dominant color of my lamp. Besides, I use the shape of its fin to give this lamp the feeling of fish. I also cut some lines then fold them to make it look more like a fin. The whole structure is completely symmetry and very stable which is visually comfortable to me.
